GBSI provides 100% managed facility services. Our classrooms are configured with top-of-the-line equipment, serviced by a friendly and experienced technical staff.
We provide all the solutions for your training, education and instructional needs, from flipcharts and printed materials to digital projectors and virtual broadcasting. We also offer secure wireless connectivity, surround sound systems, and Voice-Over IP technology.
Computer Classrooms
We have 12 classrooms to support your techincal training events. Our largest computer classroom will seat up to 50 students. These networked rooms are configured with Dell Pentium Dual Core computers and up to 4GB of memory and 19” wide screen LCD monitors. All of the amenities you would expect in a classroom are available.
Instructors may take advantage of our classroom management tools. These tools allow the instructor to interact with the student workstations. Instructors find it convenient to display their workstation presentation or demonstration on the students monitor rather than the projector for better viewing. The instructor can invite a student to interact with the demonstration using their own keyboard. Instructors may also find it convenient to disable student workstations during lecture. Our instructor tools are also ideal for performing administrative or registration tasks, deploying pre- and post-test assessments, performing evaluations and/or exchanging files.
Non-Computer Classrooms
We also have classrooms to support your non-techincal training events, meetings and seminars. Our largest room will seat up to 80 students. These rooms are networked and
all of the amenities you would expect in a classroom are available.
Internet
High-speed Internet access is conveniently available in all classrooms. Access can be controlled by the instructor in order to improve the learning experience. Our center is serviced with a redundant high-speed network and bonded-T1. Secure wireless access is always on and available throughout the facility.
Technical Support
Our certified technical staff will install and configure the computers, network and electronics to meet your training requirements. We are experienced in Microsoft Windows, and server-based operating systems, Unix and Linux. We support all major brands of networking, security and hardware manufacturers, software products. For your convenience, we support VMware, ghosting and imaging software. Our technical staff is experienced in handling your specialty equipment and will ensure its configured and ready for your training event.
